Native 5 production question

I just purchased a Native 5 and I am kind of confused on the model number of this knife and the date of production. Is the Native 5 g-10 CPM-S35VN model number C41GP5? or as spyderco's website and catalog show C41G5? Also, i thought this knife was this year or the coming years production? But my tag says IJ (september 2010)? AND I recently saw on ebay a Collector club's tag and it was HK(august 2011)? My understanding is that the collector club is supposed to be the first 201 produced?

Can anyone give me more info on this? Do I have a preproduction knife since my production date is earlier than the collector clubs? if so what does this mean if anything?

IIRC... C41=Native model / G=G10 handle scales / P=plain edge / 5=version of the Native. I suspect that the box date code indicates that it was an early model. I think I remember Sal saying in the fall that these were in-house going through QC before they were due to be released.

but is it normal to have a knife with an earlier production date than a collector clubs? if so, does it mean anything that mine is produced before the collector clubs?
 
Just realized your year code was J. That would be 2010 and may be a misprint. As far as CC knives, I don't know how Spyderco selects them, but if they get an initial batch ready and boxed, they may pick CC knives from the batch that's ready no matter what the date code on the box says. If this is really important you may want to ask on the Spyderco factory forum. There's a lot of knowledge over there about the "inner workings" in Golden.

Ive been waiting for my post to go active on the spyderco forums... When posting it said it had to be approved by a moderator and its been about 2 days since I posted it.. But, I've seen other post get on the forum so I'm not sure if mine was just denied or what not. =/ hopefully it will get approved.
