Hi folks,
Happy holidays. Been enjoying my new beach knife this Christmas (in this house Christmas runs from December 24th till January 6th at least).
But notice the blades picking up some rust

I usually rinse it off with tap water whenever i get back home but yesterday noticed the big rust spot after being out 5-6 hours. Mind you seaside there’s a salty mist in the air everywhere at all times. I don’t really mind as long as it doesn’t eat into the blade and these spots will come off. Just wanted to share my experience and maybe rib a little those nerds who say DLC coating on a magnacut blade is overkill/“MaKeS nO sEnSe”. Just because it’s magnacut doednt mean it’s magic. I do like the bright colored handle in case I drop it in the water and I’ve been loving the serrations I was forced to get due to scarcity of plain edge Native 5 Salt even if I did question the tip edge geometry when it chipped cutting off some thin plastic nursery tree pots for transplanting. Anyway, looking forward to a dlc magnacut bumblee-handle native 5 salt some day. Cheers
