Native 5 vs Microjimbo workable cutting edge

Hello my friends, I am trying to get wonderful 15V BBB but somehow I cannot decide to go Native 5 or Microjimbo. I love native 5, currently got 3, in different steel and handle materials. It is my go to besides Delica. As for Microjimbo that I used to think it is ugly now with my current collection it is, different. Native 5 is listed blade length as 2.95”, Microjimbo is listed as 2.45”. Do they have the same size of cutting edge cuz native 5 got 0.5” more length sacrificed for finger choil? Or Native still got more blade by design?

I can’t make up my mind cuz they are the same price in G-10, but Native 5 wins on pocket clip, lanyard hole…etc. although I am consider for something new but Native 5 still looks better value for the price.

I think you're already settled on the Native 5.

Perhaps stick with that model so you can try out the new steel and compare it to your other Natives?

Well, one guy buys a car just for the name of it. Another guy buys a car for the exhilaration of driving it.

There can be a big difference between cars when you are looking for the experience in use rather than the experience of collecting.

No, I meant the steel is such a great performer and its future is a bit uncertain at the moment, so you should try to accumulate as many models as you can as long as they are available.

Native 5 sill has a bit more cutting edge fwiw. Just a tiny bit. If you still want something different that also has the compression lock, try the Para 3. Can still get the G10 version in 15V. Very similar in size to the Native 5.

Thanks! This is exactly the answer I was looking for. Both blade is almost the same length, the cutting edge difference isn’t meaningful in real world kinda sense. Now i lean towards Microjimbo.
