Native 5

Okay, I dropped the ball on picking up a Manix 2 FFG. They were sold out all over the place, but I was able to get one.

Then a couple other orders came due, including the new Case Bose collaboration.

Now, I see that the Native 5 is actually out. I can do a layaway type order with a local knife shop, but I am all about the instant gratification. Is this a sprint run like the Native 4 carbon fiber? Will it be out there for a while? I am looking at getting this sometime mid October (saving my $$$ for Scott Gossman's Gossman Knives campout, big trade table).

The Native is one of my favorite knife designs, I gave my Native III and Native to my little brother. All I got is a CF model, I need a G10 to carry!

The G10 version is not a sprint run but I'm not sure about the Fluted Titanium version.

I almost bought one, but I think I can live without it. The lock mechanism on it is one of the best lockbacks I have ever seen, but I think the traditional FRN Native works better for me.

The Native 5 seems like it is just the new model of the Native line. I don't think it is a sprint run.
