Hi fellers .
Decided to make a lance instead of a hawk hope this is ok here not sure .
Used a 1 inch coil just over 12 inch blade ,

Copper wire wraps , green hide, dear hide ,feathers, hawk bells ,brass studs ,
beading,small thunder bird engraving near the tang .spotted gum haft .snake skin wrap .
leather fringe. medecine wheel ,Horse tails. hope you like .

Ever do any socketed spears? I'd love to see what you could do with an Ox Tongue spear.
 
Very nice...as usual lol Can you tell me what your anvil is mounted to? Looks almost like the concrete beneath.

....thought it might be some exotic down under concrete tree lol

Don't laugh but I've heard that they're experimenting with concrete trees to create salmon fry habitat. It seems as though the large woody debris sometimes placed in stream during river restoration projects has a tendency to float away in floods. Bridges have been damaged. The concrete trees stay put, limiting future liability. Crazy but true.

Better test that tree with the poll before your bit hits it.
