Most of the time I've found on those barrel clips like the fiberglass reinforced handled Natives have that a nickel in each hand will work better than a screw driver.
Now if its stainless and you have stripped the heads you may need a dremmel and thin kerf cut off disc to cut slots for a small flat head screwdriver in them. Then you can use a soldering iron and/or a wood burner plugged in and heated up to hold the tip on the head of each screw for about thirty seconds and then give them a good snap to break them free from the loctite. Then once off the clip can be rebent.
Sometimes you can stick a thin board or wedge in under the back toward the middle or upper part of the clip to lift it up good. Then push down on the end to bend it a bit over the wedge used to lift it. This way you can retension the clip without needing to take it off.
