I've got the Native addiction again.

I recently traded into a Kreined Native, a Native III and a Native 4. I am debating on whether to get the Native II SS or not. Might pick up a black bladed plain edge Native, but those are harder to get than the SE black blade models. The blue G10 Native was a neat design, I might go after one of those.

Three of the most rare Natives and now I want them.:confused::(:foot:

Sal, I know times are tough, but I would step right up for a Native with a 4" blade.

If you're talking rare ones, don't forget this one...

or the other two G-10 ones...

Where do you know how to get a SS native? I look everywhere and never find them...
My purple forum is my first ever forum spydie, I would trade it (which I love the most) for a nib SS Native. I saw one on ebay but it was too scratched up.

Hi Hunter,

We're in the final touches of refining the engineering on the lock for the new Golden made Native4. Once the lock geometry is finished, a 4" version would not be difficult.

Are there any special versions of the Native III?
Yes, blue with Spyderco Forum Knife markings,

and blue without the markings.

Make the spine ridges like the s30v native, the native 3 had my thumb slipping all over the spine. Just a suggestion.

I wish all the natives had the wire clips as well...Is it possible to swap the wire clips from the Native3? Just wondering..

Not Photoshopped,Is is an old prototype called the native chief.

These are the only Natives I have, I look forward to the Golden-made FFG Native:

BTW, I will appreciate any help in trying to locate an Enduring Freedom Native...

I currently EDC an older 440V Golden CO SE Native. I wanted to give my ZDP Burgundy Caly Jr a rest after carrying it and the big Dyad for so long. But let me tell you I've been pleasantly surprised with the overal performance of my 440V, SE Native. I also have a G-10, ATS-55 Harpy as a companion and there have been very few jobs I haven't been able to conquer with those 2.

What's really cool about the Golden CO SE Native is that it has about 3/4 of an inch of plain edge on the very tip of the blade which gets me by fine for most of my Plain Edged cutting.

I say all of that because I underestimated the Native model because of it's relatively short blade length. But for hard work and most everyday cutting chores the Native is truly a beast. I can't hardly believe how much leverage you can get with that short of a folder. I can't wait for this upcoming new one to hit the scene. I hope that one will be available in S90V or M-4.

For all of you who think that the Native is a "ho-hum" ordinary model of folder. I challenge all of you to try out a Golden CO Native>> I never thought much of the model until I started carrying one. It and my G-10 Harpy truly are a "dynamic duo".

Best of luck with that.. I went over there for OEF and still cant track one down.. I got an OIF one by pure luck.. If you find 2, let me know.. Ive got a Wally World Native, that gets rotated in and out of EDC.. I recieved it as a gift from an old boss of mine.. I really didnt care for it at first, but the more I carry it, the better I like it.. As cockroach like FRN is (the only thing thatll be left after a nuc holocaust) , I still prefer G10.. Thats really my only gripe with it.. The geometry is perfect and the S30, well, its S30.. Sharp..........
