Native differences

My dealer has a native in stock that is slightly different than the one I bought there 1 yr ago. The blade has a belly to it and the metal itself appears a darker color. The old box is white and the newer one at the dealers is dark blue. Also the old was $55 vs $70 for the new. I want to pick up another knife, but the 440v has been giving me fits.
are these changes in heat treat or upgrades?
I really love the Natives and will get another. I am interested in a VG-10 version. Any comments in the Native differences.

Hmmm. That's interesting. I just bought my first yesterday (newer box) and while it is my first Native, I've handled plenty of them before and even borrowed one or two. I dont' think that I've noticed a difference. I know that between the SS handles and the zytel there are grind and steel differences but if anyone could elaborate on the diffs between the 2 zytels, I'm interested also.
