Love the design and ergonomics of my Native. I've cleaned small game with a number of great knives and IMO, the Native is amongst the most convenient blades I've used for the purpose. Found myself using the tip area quite a bit especially during the skinning process - control was precise and delicate.

I'll admit though, that I used a beefier knife (Becker BK2) for going through the few bones I needed to cleave (taking off the feet). I'm sure the Native would have done the job as well but the edge is so fine, I decided to save it for meat and finer tasks.

So ImageShack went stupid. Using PhotoBucket instead.

Very nice squirrel, I rarely cleave the feet off mine just gotta slice around the tendons and twist. Since this is a critter content thread here's a small squirrel.

Funny about the 'cat-sized squirrel' comment. I brought her in to show to my cats and my cats are deeper from backbone to belly, but this squirrel was as long as my kitties. Fox squirrels get pretty huge and this one will go nicely in a cast iron skillet with some salt and pepper.

Couldn't be happier with my Native's performance.

Man!!! Good deal you had your knife on you when that squirrel attacked you!!! No telling what would've happened had you been 'unarmed'. :D
