Native FRN loose pivot.. can it be tightened?

Anyone know if it is possible to tighten the pivot on my Spyderco Native? It is the older model without a tightening screw. If possible I would like to be able to fix this myself without sending it off to Spyderco.
 
Ok, this is speculation, but I would just put one end of the rivet on a hard metal surface and gently start tapping the rivet with a hammer. But be really carful, this is a one way screw. You can tighten but you can't loosen. -kirbs
 
Thanks 9blades. I am hoping that someone has already done this and just lets me know if that is what I need to do. I don't want to ruin my knife.
