Probably a good thing that your pinned Native is a little tight rather than loose.
But with a few well placed drops of oil and a decent break-in it'll be good.
And nothing breaks them in quicker than some good hard use.
The Native is much better being a little on the tight side than the former. Barman is right, a little oil should smooth it out a bit. Pinned knives are very tricky to adjust and require a few special tools that not everyone has laying around. Tightening one up is easier than loosening them up.
