Could someone please post pics of this knife. I was wondering what kind of clip it has. Thanks

 WOW!!!
I am in love. Is this released yet?

I had a moment of great sadness this weekend when I realized I had lost my BFC Native. This will be my new EDC.

How about a photo of the side with the clip.
Is it VG-10?
SFO? Anyone online have these instock?

Thanks,

Can the wire clip be attached to the old style Native (or Delica and Endura, for that matter)? Thanks.

dialex,
That's a good question. I have a native III inbound and I can try it out when I get it.

The Native III has two slots cut for the wire clip to go into. The wire clip is rougly the same width as on the regular clip, so I suspect it would fit, but because the regular clip has a square cut-out I don't know if it would hold the clip tightly enough. If you don't mind cutting 2 slots, adding a washer and rebending the clip slightly I suspect you could make it work pretty well.

I kinda miss the false edge.
It looks pretty cool though.

How hard would it be to make the old clip fit the Native 3?

How is the wire clip on the Native III? I have only a Meerkat for comparison with all my flat steel clip knives, and I don't like it. The wire's too grippy even with thin dress slacks.

Thus I am waiting to buy the Forum Native with colored handle, because I want to have one for my collection if nothing else. If I like the clip, I'll eventually get a black handled version for carry.

Money's tight, or else I'd just buy them all and let each one sleep in it's individual knife bed in the knife room...:)

How does the Native wire do?

Thanks,

Karl

Safety Guy: I don't know how to compare, but I like the Salsa's wire clip.
I think the Native III's clip won't be bad at all.

The wire clip is very tight, which is fine because it keeps it securely in place. However, the Native 3 is not a "low rider" in the pocket, the handle protudes almost an inch out. But, the wire clip feels much nicer when gripping the handle than the standard-type clip. All in all, it's a great knife, that looks larger than the regular Native. And it cuts like there is no tomorrow!!!
