Hi,

I'm selling a serrated black native. Buyer tells me that my knife, that says "earth" after" golden colorado" is from a Chinese batch, where coating and serrations are not so durable than the japan and us made. He wants a discount. Is this correct?

Spyderco has never made the Native in China. The DLC serrated version is made in Golden Colorado USA.

He's wrong, unless the knife you're selling has a phony damascus blade like this:

Then it's a POS Chinese fake, not a real Spyderco at all.

A discount?!?! Seriously?!?! You should let them know no discount, and if they want they can ship back to you on their dollar. If they didn't want a dlc blade, then they should have looked at the uncoated. You shouldn't suffer because of their stupidity.

I told the potential byer that I diden't wanted his business...politely... I think..
