Native Steel question

i was looking through the '02 spyderco catalog today and was looking at the specs on the FRN native, it lists the blade steels as VG-10 and CPM-440v. when i went to check this on the website it only lists 440v.

so my question is: are theyre vg-10 natives or not?

CPM-440V is the steel used in the older model Natives!!! I have 2 of them.

I just had a look at both sources and I am left wondering the same thing. I sure do hope the PDR is correct.

We will be offering both guys VG 10 from Japan 440v from Golden aus10 in stainless steel handle still from japan. And just to be a brat the GIN 1 is really the old lw natives & no the VG10 natives have not made it into the states yet.
