Native that rubs...

I have a straight edge Native w/ inlays that is great with one exception. The blade rubs on the liner (very lightly). When I open it lefty, the pressure in the opposite direction keeps it from rubbing. However, it is more annoying than anything else.
Is the blade positioning adjustable? I've avoided the quick fix (probably with poor long-term results) of pushing the tip in the direction away from the rubbing liner. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi there stogie.

This happened to me on my old Benchmade Emerson CQC7, after I dropped it (opps!). I alleviated the problem by disassembling the knife, turning the bushings, and reassembled it. This worked for me. However, the Native can't be taken apart to the best of my knowledge. Hopefully someone will have a nondestructive suggestion for you.:(

Hi Stogie. Natives with inlays are not very common and are no longer being made. If it is something that we can do here, which we won't know until we see it, maybe we can make that adjustment.

Thanks wire...

Thanks Sal,
The knife is less than 2 weeks old. I bought it from Spydie over the telephone <the last one you had there>. I think I'll break it in a little more and see whether it gets better or worse, or stays the same. If it gets worse, I'll send it back for a look. Although I'm not sure I want to take the chance of having someone say it's broken... I like it too much.
Thanks for the response and the help.
