I am trying to decide between these two knives. The size is right for me as an everyday knife. Can anyone offer any feedback on why or why not to purchase either of these? Even suggestions on others would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just encouraged racerX to buy Calypso jr ltwt. It outperforms both.

Between native and walker I'd take native. Better steel and walker ltwt is only flimsy feeling Spyderco that I've handeled. If you find almite walker its wholly different story, but native has still better steel. I can't comment about ergonomics as these are really different in hand.

I agree with Tommi that, of the 2 knives you mention, the Native is the better bet for an everyday knife. The ergonomics are superb (for my hands anyway) and you're gettin a premium blade steel in CPM440V. However I don't agree that the Calypso Ltwt outperforms it. It really depends on your needs. The Calypso is an excellent knife but IMNSHO is more suited to light use whereas the Native feels like a much bigger knife in the hand and the grip is much more secure, making it more suitable for heavy use. YMMV

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow....in Australia it's tomorrow already.

Clay, yes grip is secure, firm,... but it is also pretty much defined - calypso allows you to handle it in more ways. If stabbing etc. is needed native is better but in cutting performance calypso outperforms native. I mainly whittle wood, whittle hard plastic, cut tape, open packages and cut cable ties (I work in a lab and try to revamp(word from my dictionary

)measurement configurations.
Calypso wins in first two chores clearly. Especially in whittling har pastic it is better. Last three do not need deep cuts and my BF native handles those chores as well as calypso ltwt or micarta.
