here can i get a zytel or g10 native? . Places I've called/visited don't seem to have 'em.

For the zytel Native, check any of the web-based knife businesses. I personally recommend discountknives.com. Great service and best prices out there.

For the Blue G-10 Native, that will cost you considerably higher since only 300 were made in a limited edition. They go for $100+ and you must post in the Knives: Wanted forum for that. If you get lucky, as I did recently, you will get a seller willing to part with his.

The Blue G-10 Native is not worth it unless you're looking to collect. If you want to use your knife for daily and tough tasks, get a zytel Native. Wonderful knife, my favorite Spyderco model.

Hope this helps,

Amigo - If you are looking for an all-round utility blade - go for the Native in CPM440V. Its worth it!

There is an older version using GIN-1 steel, its slightly cheaper. If you want style - get the SS Native! I agree with senor Flood on collection the blue-handled Native.

Flood,

I see you finally got your Bladeforums
Native. Congrats, Was it that one for sale a week or so ago?

Nopers Easyrider. Actually, I got mail from a total of three people offering a BF Native for sale. The one you mentioned that was for sale, I accepted it but then changed my mind b/c I wanted a completely new blade, and that one was slightly used. Of course, I referred the guy to samo, who was interested in acquiring one for himself.

This other guy who e-mailed me offered me a brand new plain BF Native in box with replacement clip and a Mike Sastre neck sheath. Needless to say, I jumped at that offer!

I'm not planning on using mine much, just mainly for flicking and "drooling" purposes.

If you want to get one, my advice is to post your request on the "Knives: Wanted to Buy" forum and wait for the e-mails to come.

Hrm, maybe I should get another one for hard use?

Thanks, I'm gonna check it out today. Sounds like the Zytelis one for me. I have a Delica that I use daily, but wanted something / a thicker blade. The Stainless is nice, but a little heavier than I'd like , I as talking to a friend about my uest and he pointed me here.Glad he did!

I use my BF Native(s). Got one zytel native for a friend and have to say that it ain't even close when comparing whole package. If I didn't have my blue natives I'd be more than happy with those zytel ones anyhow.
