I got a Spyderedge Native in the mail today, very sharp out of the box and better fit and finish than knives that cost twice as much (one of which it will be replacing as an EDC). Very useful profile and the FRN looks good, better than the G10 of some other companies. Also tip-up, the way i like 'em. This isn't the first Spyderco product i've owned, and it certainly won't be the last, in fact i'd be surprised if it was the last this month.
Happy customer :D

How's it going, M@thew? How are you enjoying that Native?
I've been looking into getting the Native in Plainedge to complement my full Spyderedge Delica for EDC carry. (For those times that a plainedge would just be a better choice instead of the Spydie serrations.)
That Native is one AWESOME looking knife with that spearpoint blade. Anyway, I just thought that I'd get your opinion on your Spyderedge Native. Thanks for your input.

Laters, dude.:D

The Native is a great knife, i carried it by itself as an EDC for a week or so, very useable and is indeed 'native' to a wide variety of cutting tasks. The grip took a bit of getting used to, i found that placing my index finger in the cut-out between the blade and handle, with my second finger in the curved portion, and other two fingers beyond that to be the most comfortable grip for me. I let my dad borrow my Native yesterday for cutting some rope in work (he works nights) and i hope i'm gonna get it back! The knife is well suited to EDC and, like you said, is one awesome looking knife. If you buy one, you won't regret it. :D
