I have not ONE knife with natural bone handles but I am always drawn to them for some reason when examples are posted here. There must be more out there so....

...smok'em if ya got'em! :D

(Buck_Fan inspired me ;))

My only one.

1981 Wolverine Knife Collector Club knife. Queen gun stuck with white bone.

Those ARE nicely jigged bone handles, and I like them, BUT, I should have explained that natural bone is usually smooth(not jigged)bone that has no alteration of color, ie dyeage.

Three bone handled docs.

Left to right,

Miller Bros., jigged bone

Remington, jigged bone worn to smooth bone

Electric Cutlery, smooth bone.

Just don't look at these bones without the appropriate safety equipment.

Keep Care,

This one is natural and unjigged, but of course, it is carved! Dan Burke's design, by Queen.

Here, the top Canoe has Giraffe bone handles.

This one really isn't in your category, Kerry, but it's interesting because it's not dyed, but it is burnt, like they do stag!

Here's a GEC trapper with some old weathered bone they claim is not dyed!

And finally the "ECrowningR" touch, a very unusual pattern Joseph Rodgers, near mint Pen, in natural bone! I love the way the old knives have the tangs stamped both sides. We (my knife club) looked at, and discussed this knife a lot. At first I thought it was Ivory, but we concluded it's Bone.

Here's one. It looks dyed, but it isn't. The color comes from the soil where the bone had been buried for many years.

I believe it's my only knife with natural bone handles.

I think this one sort of meets the criteria you inquired about Kerry. It is natural bone that has had a touch of what I would call burnishing, but no dye or jigging.

Case 6249 in CV and natural boneage:

Hands down the best copperhead I've ever seen. Was that a SFO?

Was that a SFO?

I honestly don't know if it was a special factory order or not. I acquired it this past year on the `bay-watch. Maybe someone else here would know if it was a Case sfo or otherwise.

I think this is natural bone. It's an old Cattaraugus knife. Pretty stuff. Nice thread.
