Both handles are the same natural canvas micarta.

The top one is "recently finished" but oiled
The bottom one has aged for a few months

This is what I like about natural canvas micarta...changes with time.

If you like it more yellow...just lightly sand it with high-grit paper...and keep it oiled.

Make sense?

That really is a beautiful handle.

Can I switch my Survivor order from green to Natural??? Pretty please?

I really like it too.

Oh that reminds me! I need to order one of your Bushcraft knives.
With natural micarta handle! :D

I can still do that right? I won't really need to play with it for a year or so.

Hey, that's my bushcraft on the bottom! Dropped it on it's head on the concrete and Dan fixed the tip up for me, gratis.

I like the 'slightly used' look. I think I read a post you did a while back about soaking in mineral oil to keep the micarta from drying out. If you do the oil, and not the sanding, which of those would it look most like?

The bottom one. Natural canvas micarta ages on its own, oiled or not...but oiling it now and then will give it a richer look and feel. Makes me all warm and fuzzy thinking about it. :D
