Lately I realized that there haven't been too many if any Busse knives that have a natural INFI finish on them. Figured there may be those who haven't seen what the steel looks like before it is taken all the way to a satin finish. Some may refer to it as a raw unfinished stage, but I think it is a unique finish all its own.
Three of my knives have it, but the one pictured below has the best example I've seen to date. Usually the spatter pattern is uneven and not very pronounced. However this example gives a good view of what it really can look like as an actual finish when fully covering the exposed steel.
