natural Linen Micarta ?

I just finished my first knife using Natural (Brown stuff) linen micarta. I brought it too a 400 grit finish and while doing that I was wet sanding it. The water really made the grain pattern of the linen look cool. Then it dries to a dull flat finish. Is there a way to bring out this pattern without making it slick or shiny?

I still want the grippy feel it has now and get a nice pattern. Yea I know, cake & eat it too!

try an alcohol scrub with a tooth brush
that will give it a grippy feeling you are looking for

It already is kind of grippy. I want to enhance the Linen Micarta grain but not make it shiny (RE: Buffing)
