Hi
First time poster here on BF. I have the TSPROF Kadet with a set of Venev diamond stones. I have decided to buy a set of Boride T2 but i also want a finer stone for the mirror finish. I have been looking att the Chosera stones.
From the Grand Logarithmic Grit Chart it seems to be the #5000 Chosera, but can anyone confirm this?

I asked a similar question to Gritomatic for a stone to use after a 1200 Venev diamond. Their suggestion was the Suehiro G8 8000 stone but it appears it’s sold out. I think the general consensus is to switch to stropping, or lapping film, after a 1200 stone.

I guess i was unclear. I was talking about Boride T2 1200 grit(I have now bought a set of Boride T2). Because there was a sale on Black friday i have gone with the Chosera(5000 and 10000 grit). I have been looking around on reviews and it seems that many prefer Chosera over Suehiro and Shapton pro.

For using after the Venev diamond stones i use Venev diamond paste 7/5, 3/2 and 1/0 on wooden blanks. I do have a problem with scratches so i will try the Chosera 5000 efter the 1200 grit Venev diamond stone.
