A little while back, I was fortunate to host Duncan and Sue, those NZ goodies, for a wonderful day of "getting to know you", while they were doing their North American Tour!
Of course I proudly showed Duncan some of the knives I've collected - unfortunately I didn't have him here long enough to show him all of them. He liked this Camillus Collection, but noticed a gap . . .hmmmm.

Upon returning from Titusville last week, I received a package from him, which included this wonderful gap-filler!
:)

Much more than a place-marker, it is an exquisite Jack in wonderful condition! And it does indeed complete the picture!!

Thanks so much Duncan, for the very nice knife!!
And the knife has a history as well, once belonging to another stalwart of the porch!
I sit here and marvel at a full box of Camillus knives - what next???
:D

That knife is great, Charlie! I like that Streamline stamp. Good job, Duncan.

Not much unused space in that box! Only something streamline would fit. ;) That was a nice addition to the collection and a generous gift.

Charlie, the knife always finds the person it truly belongs to, that ABSOLUTELY happened in this case:)

Nice finishing touch! When I arrange my knife drawers I also leave spaces for future knives, and magically they seem to appear in my mailbox after looking at too many pictures on this forum...

Oh yea, I noticed that you're a star on Youtube now.., HA! I appreciate you sharing that with us..

Just when you think Duncan has nothing left to give he manages to pull something out of his pocket.

The generosity of this community never ceases to amaze me. Well done Duncan!

Why thank you everyone, but you know- gifting someone who has not only gifted me PLENTY of knives over the years, but many many other people - is pretty darned easy - Im bad because when you look at a knife individually - well....its kind of hard to let that beautiful thing go - but when you see a knife as nice as that - that could be in with MANY other nice knives like that and look right at home-Bang decision made.

Visiting Charlie and Joanne was simply relaxingly cool , such lovely people, such neat friends.

Charlie kind Sir, you actually do too much for everyone, its about time someone did something for you - gifting a knife to you - doesnt seem to cut it :D....okay okay I did slip that pun in - but you know what I mean. Thank you for all that you have done for me, and do for me to this day my friend.
