Well...I'm an addict. No question here, no knife trivia, just admission of what a lot of peeps don't get.

I just looked at the Christmas List my kids wanted me to send out.
There are eight items on the list and five are Bucks.
Six and seven are HD parts while the eighth is socks.
Oh, and I just added a ninth item: Lansky Deluxe set.

Thinking I should switch to Franklin Mint stuff...

No....No Franklin Mint Stuff !!!!! My X wife use to buy me a few of their knives, and they are total POS....I know you are kidding BUT buying Franklin mint knives is just not funny....... (LOL)

Yeah Tom, I got one of those Franklin folders somewhere. Dont' know why, but I got one.
It just seems that people don't get the Buck/Knife collecting. If it's Franklin Mint maybe that would make it "normal".
Perphaps I would start with a Betty Boop plate.
Happy Thanksgiving to all...

hey goose you never said but i am guessing that is your list ;)
but if its the kids it looks like you turned them into addicts too lol:thumbup:
i always get sock for christmas and when i used to complain "you little so-and-so" your lucky you got anything lol but now i have been conditioned i just accept them smile and say thank you :D

Betty Boop, Betty Page, Betty Rubble, they all send me. The only Betty I can think of just now that doesn’t do it for me is the Queen. Oh well, probably just as well. I probably wouldn’t light her up that much either. Besides, she’s to busy running things and cutting off heads and opening horse shows to give me the nod. :)

jeez will youre easy lol
and the queen yikes
when i seen that thread i had to read it but it wasnt what i was hoping for

there was only one frankling mint that was worth it and it was a buck brand!
some dont want it cause of the franenstine connection but it is still a buck frist!!! and no diffrent then the cheep hd stuf vs buck hd stuff, ;)

for young kids frankstine knives tell they learn to value good stuff:rolleyes:

some times i say i have a lot of that brand/style/type but not
many of this one with out the deer on it ...hint hint...

My wife normally buys me shirts for Christmas. I told her earlier this year that I had enough shirts already! :o I gave her my list which included a Lansky sharpening system for those days I didn't feel like firing up the Torvek. I also told her about the Wally World tins. She's getting a high priced watch, so I figure that ought to be good for at least a couple of good Bucks.

Here's MY list BM#10 or anyone else that's in the spirit of giving!

Lansky Deluxe Sharpener Set
Buck Kalinga CHIPFLINT w/ Buffalo inlay model 401LE
Buck Skinner CHIPFLINT w/ Buffalo inlay model 103LE
Buck Alaskan Guide 110 S30V Stag Folder
Buck Pathfinder (rosewood handle)
Buck CLASSIC 521 or 525
Harley Chrome Oil Vent Line
Harley Chrome Tail Light Visor
Black Socks

And on this day of Thanksgiving, I am thankful for all the Betty's in the world...
