Navaja Woes.

Well, I got a new Spyderco navaja about a week ago. I love it, it's gorgeous, and it's almost flawless..... Except now the carraca has died, and I don't think I can get warranty on it. See, I live in New York state, and Spyderco won't ship here. What this means to me is that if I send it out, I'm not getting it back. ....Yeah... this is kind of a problem for me. Any idea on what I can do to make this work, any replacement springs, or DYI replacements?
 
Have you called or emailed to discuss this with them?
 
Just find someone out of the state you can trust, have Spyderco mail it to their address, and that person mail it back to you. Easy enough.
 
I live in NY state. I've sent knives to Spyderco warranty and repair and they've sent them back.

I believe if you contact them you'll find them willing to help you.
 
I have contacted spyderco, and they've said I will absolutely get it back, and that they will fix it good as new! I should have known I could trust them. I'm sorry to Sal and everybody else at Spyderco and on BF for not trusting you sooner! :)
