Today is National Code Talkers Day.A great service to the nation was provided by many tribes in the US during WW2, saving many lives in the process.Arizonans are proud of it's Navajo citizens. Semper Fi

Semper Fi they are genuine heroes to all of are freedom! My grandfather fought in the island hoping campange I know he benifeted from the code talkers.

I heard about their valiant role for the US in the war thru an episode of "X-Files" (of all places...) back in the 90's.

I was happy to pick up the deluxo 3 disc version of "Windtalkers". Not for the mediocre movie, but for the included documentaries about the Code Talkers. Amazing stuff. One of the final designs of the Arizona Quarter honored their contributions to the war.
