While i'm not a fan fan of avatar the story, i am a sucker for good production design. If anything it has helped me to move out of the bowie/trade knife rut i'd been in for awhile.

steel :1084
Edge quenched in canola and triple tempered 400

OAL - 24 3/4"

Blade - 14 Cutting edge 12.5"

Handle - Cholla cactus with an inner coat of epoxy. The tang is forged to fit the length of the handle. The tang is epoxied and pinned. The bolster is hemp and a macrame turks head knot sealed with shellac.

It was fun. The best part was forging the tang to fit the cactus.

That came out good! And it's proportional for a 9 foot tall blue cat person.

Now you need to do one of the AMP suit knives.
