Are all the Almite Navigators numbered?Mine has the Number 690 on the pocket clip.

Nor mine. I think only the first 1000 of each model are numbered.

Don't worry that the world might end tomorrow....in Australia it's tomorrow already.

Hi Carver. Most unusual. We number new models to 200 for the collectors. We number collaborations to 1000. The Nav is one of my designs so it would have onlyh been numbered to 200. Also, we usually engrave the numbers on the blade, sometimes in other odd locations, but we don't number on the clip. How is the number put on?

The number is engraved on the clip right below the Spyderco logo.If the knife is held with the clip up the number would read 690.I suppose it could be 069 if the knife is flipped over. When I get home I`ll do a scan and post it in this thread.

I think we are talking about the Navigator with the slotted handles (Experimental C99-100)? If so, I also have one of these numbered pieces. Mine is the Spyderedge version with GIN-1 steel and looking at the back of the knife with the clip screws at the top, the number is just below the Spyder. Mine is # 325. The clip is definitely spyderco (and so is the knife). The number is not deeply ground and very faint, I always thought that the clip was a very strange place for it...

Yes Ben!Mine does have the slotted handles and is numbered exactly as you describe.I tried several times to get a scan where the numbers showed up well with little sucess. The label on the box has SP-099 on it.So,Sal how many were numbered?

Carver. No one here can remember ever putting the number on the clip of any knife.

Perhaps you can send a pic of the piece?

Hi Carver. Haven't seen them yet. They probably went to the office. I won't be there until Monday.

Here are the pics.
