I was offered a little Spydie Navigator with G10 handles and GIN1 blade and am thinking about picking it up. Any comments on this beaut of a little knife? Anybody currently carry/use one daily?

i don't have one.....yet. i have handled them and just haven't picked one up yet, but i plan to. maybe even reward myself for christmas since i've been such a good boy. i find the handle to be very comfortable.

I got both my Mom and my fiance' a Navigator. They are great knives to have around, and they clip right into the coin pocket of jeans. My Mom carries three knives now..

..I keep meaning to get one for myself, but they are the perfect gift for a non-knife person.

I carry a G-10 Navigator every work day in a somewhat unusual place. I carry a serrated model in the trauma plate pocket of my body armor. It's the perfect size to carry there, has never fallen out and is just perfect for little jobs or where the Police model is too high profile.

I don't carry my (plainedge) Navigator on a regular basis, but it does have a spot in the rotation, and it's my first choice when I need something around the house. This is a little bulldog of a knife. I find that the handle provides a very secure grip and blade lock-up is rock solid.

It's a dynamite knife- it doesn't know that it's so small, so it cuts like a knife twice it's size. Mine has gone through security at JFK & LaGuardia airports in NYC a few times without a blink- just stuff some bills into the clip & toss it into the little Tupperware tray along w/ your keys & change. (YMMV- Don't yell at me if yours gets taken- it's worked for me so far) Probably my all-time favorite "small" knife- I would rather carry a Navagator than a Delica. There, I've said it!

I did the same thing Rugger did with the one I got for the Fiance. Even if it would have been noiticed it would have been legal, so it is not a big deal. Does make me wonder about the quality of the security at my airport though.

My Navigator serrated is a daily carry for me. It's an easy carry. Just used it today to recycle a ton of cardboard.

I also carry and use the Navigator daily. I used to carry it in the fob pocket of my jeans, but you can clip it almost anywhere. You can remove the clip and place it sideways in your back pocket, or you can clip at the edge of your front pocket (it's so small that it won't prevent you from removing other objects from that pocket). It's a great knife and the hoi polloi just adore it!
