I just got back from SMKWs.I thought I would give a heads up.They have the Navigator back in stock in PE and SE for 29.99.I picked up a PE.
They also had 1 #ed Jot Singh Khalsa in SE in the showroom for 49.99.IIRC the # was 820.
Lets get up some talk about the Nav.
I was sitting here really looking it over and it is really an underrated knife.
I mean 30.00 for Almite slotted allum.and VG10 steel knife.
Seems to be a platform for many possable mods.
This one looks great.I polished up the inside of the opening hole and used some flitz on the scales. That flitz does wonders for almite. It does not remove any of the coating but it does clean it and it just seems to glow now like the blueing on a fine firearm.
I can't belive they are not getting snached up left and right.IMO these will be a hard to find little knife when they all get gone.
I posted this on the spyderco.com site but it seems that not very many are interested in the Nav.

BTW I know many had posted about problems in fit and finnish on the last patch they had and it was true.I got one before they sold out last time and had to look through 5 or 6 before I found a really good one. With them being disconed, the factory must have put them together quickly on the last run they done.
With that being said you don't have to worry with that on the ones they have now.I don't know where they got them but they are slightly older models and the fit and finnish are great. The one I got was dated 6-20-02

The Navigator at $30 is hands-down the BEST value in the knife industry. I can't think of any better deal. Gonna pick up another PE to keep in reserve. I've been carrying my current one for 1.5 years. It shows some finish wear but is still razor sharp. Probably ought to get two.

I bought one of thos $30 Navigators and I agree that it is one hell of a little knife! If you don't have one then you should seriously consider buying one. :D
