I have a Navitool. I bought it about a year or two ago. I now see that there are
new ones popping up all over. Mine has a sticker on it that says " Assembled in the
US from US and imported parts."

I am assuming (yeah, dangerous word) that this is an older real Schrade.

Thoughts?
Info?

Thanks,
Greg

Irv,
My owners manual is almost identical. Two noted differences.
1) Mine does not say Patents Pending on the front.
2) At the bottom of the front page, mine says:
"The configuration of this product is a trademark of Imperial Schrade Corp. U.S. Pat. Nos: D462,017 &
D456.687. Other U.S. and foreign patents issued and pending. Copyright 2002. All rights reserved."

Well... duh. I guess that pretty much says it. I mean the whistle is English, so there's your foreign
content. I guess I was asking if Taylor is making them now. I recall they were scarce when I bought
mine. They seem to be everywhere now.

Hi Greg, you did not say what Nave Tool you have.
I have an “ST175” mint in its’ box with all paperwork and I also have an “IQ180” in an unopened Clam pack.
These two tools came to Australia in 2002-2003 and never found their way to a retailer for sale.
If I can help with wording on packs or paperwork, please post questions… Ken

koldgold,
I believe you are referring to the Navitool ST175 and the I-Quip IQ-180.
(My apologies if I have a hyphen in the wrong place.)
Although I have wanted an I-Quip, I have never bought one.
I have the Navitool.
Thanks for the help,
Greg
