Not sure what you are seeing. This thread was apparently started in Dec 2015. The thread starter name is blank, and the first post is not visible. So either they were banned and all posts they made deleted, or the post was moved offline by the mods.

The earliest forum threads are from 2002, if you sort by thread start date / ascending.

Did you want to discuss Navy knives? If so, this looks like the right thread:

Perhaps it was a double-post and was mostly deleted, but somehow still shows up in the search list. The date of thread starting was the same.

I know you guys probably think that I’m crazy but if you click the button above the stickies on the main first page of the traditional sub forum that reads “last message” if you click it you get what’s in the picture I took a screenshot, I just wondered if it was a joke or a glitch or something, sorry to have brought this all up I was just curious about it.

It’s the Unix epoch date. Time started for Unix systems on Dec. 31 1969 @ 7pm. It’s a carryover from days of yore, so if there’s a time glitch (i.e. the system’s counter is reset), it defaults back to the beginning of time as it knows it.
