I hope its ok to post a link here, if not apologies, and just delete the post, however;

I purchased this knife, and while I really like the design and style but the quality is just not there. I honestly believe you get what you pay for and I am not complaining at all, I just want a better built one.

My favourite feature is the integrated screwdriver blade in the liner. Very useful for opening paint cans and many other things.

I guess my main question is anyone know where I can get another one? Or anyone have any guess who could/would build one?

Cheers guys, thanks

I'm afraid I can't help you with your quest, but I did find your opinion of the quality of the knife interesting.
There seems to be a mystique behind the word 'Sheffield' that implies quality, much like Solingen in Germany.
Sheffield used to be the place to be if you were a knife maker (or razor maker) but unfortunately, a lot of the current knife businesses in Sheffield seem to be living off the reputation rather than producing outstanding cultery.

Case in point: I have a small lockback gentleman's folder made by G. Ibberson, Sheffield.
It is without a doubt the crappiest knife I own.
I bought it when I was 18, and it was the first knife I bought for myself without having to ask an adult to buy it for me (legal age to buy a knife in the UK is 18) and that is the only reason I've held on to it.

The blade was horrifically overbuffed to the extent that it looks chrome plated, and is practically impossible to sharpen.
The pivot pin was loose and blade play was terrible until I gave it a whack with a hammer.
When I bought it, the blade was literally as sharp as a butter knife. It didn't really have an edge bevel at all, and I had to create one before I could begin to sharpen it.
The lack of a cutting edge may have been deliberate, because the edge contacts the spring when the knife is closed.
The overall quality of the knife is like that of those horrible pakistani made knives.

In fact, when I found it recently, I fully expected the tang stamp to say 'Pakistan', 'Inox', or 'rostfrei' because I ether hadn't noticed or had forgotten that it was made in Sheffield.

Who's yours made by? I know G. Ibberson made some yachting knives that look similar, maybe they made yours too?

I have a 50 year old British Army clasp knife, issued to my uncle when he was in the Royal Engineers

It will win no points on the F&F
But it will last another 50 years of hard use
