Nazi dagger info/ID please

Lady I work with brought this to me looking for info and valuation in case she decides to sell it. By happenstance I know someone who has a friend that has been shopping for one for ages and can only find 'possible' authentics for $5-$8k. We were all talking the other day and I mentioned to my friend that she had lived all over that side of the ocean and she mentioned some of the things she still has from after her husband passed away. He got all excited because his friend has been looking for one, and here I am today :)

All I know is her husband acquired it while they were stationed in Germany. She thinks it's a German officers knife. It's stamped "ROBI KLASS SOLINGEN" Beyond that, once I post the pics you'll know what I know about it, so any assistance would be appreciated. I wasn't anticipating this today, so all I have is cell phone pics. But my new phone takes much better pics than my old :)

I've found lots of ROBI stuff for sale on the net but nothing even similar to this.

And totally separate, but I just picked up an SVD Dragunov bayonet at an auction the other day, great shape and covered in cosmoline (yay) and matching numbers bayo/sheath. Anyone know about what it would be worth?
 
You should post it on the Levine sub forum.It's gonna be high for that thing.Pretty wicked dagger in all respects.

www.therupturedduck.com sells lotsa nazi daggers check it out they also have prices.

i clicked my own link, its a 2nd model luftwaffe dagger imho, they sell 'em for more than $400 though, but not anywhere near $5K..

they have all kinds if your bud is looking for one, probably 25 of them similar to the one in the pic, they seem to run ~$1K or so depending on maker and condition.

man all that nazi stuff has sure gone up thru the yrs, my dad brought back a SA dagger from WW2 and i can remember when it was worth ~$50 or so, if that, when i was a kid, now more like $800 maybe more, supply and demand i guess.

if my dad woulda thought they would ever bring that kinda dollar he woulda brought back a trunk full of 'em lol.
