Ncis knife spotted

I saw that too while watching NCIS with my wife.
The exchange went something like this...

Me... "Hey! There's my knife!" :D

My wife... ""

Is "mcallister" the ex-NCIS agent that lives in Mexicon and called Gibbs proby? Been bugging me since I saw it last night.

:D Also, the guy that Leon stabbed used to play on the Unit. He was in a wheelchair. If I remember correctly he helped train Jonas....:D

No that is Mike Franks. Used to be Gibbs' boss before NCIS was NCIS.

That guy that got stabbed has been in a couple different movies/ shows though.

Yeah its always that until they want to go for a jog/walk then its "Hey can I borrow one of your knives?" that was two weeks ago and I have yet to get back my Kershaw JYD2!

Yep. Rule no. 9, never go anywhere without a knife.:D

Yep, but don't forget rule # 1: Don't talk about Fight Club.

I saw that episode too. Wife loves the show. She couldn't understand my excitement when I recognized the knife. Hey, she watches for Mark Harmon, I watch for Zero Tolerance, and any others that may show up! :)

Thanks guys. My ole brain got a bit rattled there for a few. I knew that. I really did. That's why I carry a driver's license at all times. Not to let me drive but because it's got my home address on it.

Anyway, I've abided Rule #9 for the last 60+ years.

Yup saw it, Leon stabbed mcallister with it.
Not to be overly negative or anything, but doesn't this type of media appearance only serve to perpetuate the myth that all folding knives are for the sole purpose of being weapons?

Naaaaaaawwwwwww. Those that are against us (knives) will always be against us. If they'd shown Zeva taking a stone out of a little lamb's hoof with a Victorinox Classic in order to save it, they'd still be against us.

There oughta be a rule #9½ -- NEVER loan your knife to anyone!!!

Really? I watch for Ziva and Abby and Kate…
Whatever interests you, however. *cheeky grin*

On the topic, however, I remember reading that one of the crew is a knife knut who makes sure the knives used are decent, not cheap things some props department person buys from a two-dollar store.

Cheers
Craig

As an interesting NCIS sidelight, Michael Weatherly's (DiNozzo) real-life family background is all about blades: rather like the character he plays on the show, Weatherly was born into relatively cushy circumstances, his father having made a pile of money importing SAKs into the US. Who knows, it may still be true that every purchase of a one-handed trekker drops a couple of cents into Weatherly's trust fund.

Yes that was him,and the UNIT was too good to last :jerkit:.

I like NCIS and watch it since my wife loves it- but the Glocks with safetys and the crap knife that Ziva used to throw - well lets get real pleeeze.

They do use better folders that most, and yes I do own a ZT 350 but I prefer the BM's.
