i was just watching NCIS Episode name "light sleeper" and 55 minutes into the episode agent gibbs flicks out and then hands Kershaw 1660ST Combo edge Leek and hands it to a North Korean sleeper agent so she can defuse a Rather large bomb located int the back of a truck, as she hands it back to him you can actually see her using one hand disengage the framelock, close the blade and engage the blade-tip safety! and at the last moment you can also clearly see the KERSHAW Logo on the polished steel handle as she places it back in gibbs hands

A week or so ago I saw Ziva sitting on her desk playing with an automatic knife that looked like a MOD CQC. Anyone else see that? It happened at the very beginning.

yes it was a MOD MKI. it's a couple of shows! :) during the early shows Gibbs has a rule that the agents always should have a knife. it's a running joke that Tony can't remember the rule number! :D

I also watched Light Sleeper the other day, that's kind of weird seeing as it was season 3 out of 6...

edit: there was a marathon, that explains it :)

Now I know why I like that character.

Awesome, I saw the same and wondered what knife that was. My 36" Wega isn't quite good enough that I could read the make in that last shot of the knife though. I love playing "what's that knife" when watching "The Unit" all the time. I've even posted here about that show a couple of times.

Hey, sounds like a perfect excuse to get that 50" Pioneer plasma I've had my eye on.

was also watching dexter, most of the cops have knifes. Good knifes, a kershaw blur, spyderco delica, a buck 110. refreshing.

Mark Harmon enjoys woodworking - especially with hand tools. When you see him in his home's basement shop, those are his tools he is using on that boat.

It's a great show - from Ducky, the ME, to Ziva. Speaking of Ducky, he must swim pretty well, surviving the 'Titanic' movie of the fifties where he was the 'sparks' (wireless operator). His Russian spy's accent from 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.' TV series in the sixties is gone - and his proper Scottish accent is back. Restoring a Morgan in NCIS was a nice reference... I wonder if Gibbs did the chassis (wood) work? Neat ensemble. Find a real picture of 'Abbie' (Pauley Perrette) - she is cute!

My wife drools when Harmon appears on anything. She loves Connery, too - and really swoons when the pair are together - like on 'Presidio'. She got off early yesterday - and found that marathon still on when she got home - bliss.

I remember the bomb episode - but never noticed the Leek - and I have a few, including one in damascus!

Yup, she was trimming her fingernails with it. Love that woman, she is entertaining in looks and attitude :)

Don't know if anyone here's a fan of "Life," but a few episodes back, when Charlie Crews has to cut a wire to disengage a bomb, he pulls out a stainless steel handled Spyderco Delica 4...I'm a BM man myself, but it was nice to look over at the wife, explain to her what she just saw, and then be called a "dork" for 5 minutes, haha.

In the first season, he used a stainless Police a lot, to the point that for awhile his partner took it away from him because he was drawing it instead of his gun.

To funny.

GIBB RULE #9:Always carry a knife!

Yeah, coulda been a Police...I don't know Spyderco's enough to discern the difference, so in hindsight, it probably was a Police...ugh, now I have to go to the DVR, bring up the episode, and explain to my wife I was wrong ;)
