Over the summer I've slowly been sinking into withdrawl from new NCIS episodes. Not that I mind the re-runs, but I'm thinking what are they going to do about Gibbs?

And will the keep Ziva on? Yeow!

(What would Gibbs do?)
 
There was a little interview with "Ziva" in TV guide, she hinted that "it will be the job of the NCIS crew to lure Gibbs back".
Also, we know that Harmon had re-signed....

Believe it or not, the thing that I like best about the Ziva character is the zinger lines that they give her and her ability to deliver them so damned deadpan. She is just funny as all Hell. She is also deadly as all Hell. This is not to deny that she is also dead bang smashing in the looks department, but TV abounds with that sort of scenery.

I fell in love with her the moment she threw her Cold Steel fb into that guy early in last season.
 
OH man I can not wait until NCIS is back on. I really love that show, and LOST....come on cold weather and fall lineup of television favorites ( which are few ) I love Agent Gibbs. I love Sawyer on Lost. I could be gum on the soles of their footwear and not care.:D

But I have to agree with you - ever since Gibbs came up with Rule #9, he ROCKS!!!

And while I liked LOST, the whole show went south when they came up for no explanation why the pilot of the airliner, found unconscious in the first or second episode, was snatched live from the cockpit, seemingly suspended some 50'+ up in the air and they can't find anything bigger than a scrawny excuse for something that looks like a polar bear that Sawyer shoots with a .45????

Now, for a man's manly sorta show... The Unit RULES!!! :D

He's got more head and neck moves than I have in my whole body and she's always got her arms folded and giving bad looks but it's a great show!:D
 
looking forward to a new season of ncis, one of the few shows i make an effort to watch. but with the new season returns the dilemma, ziva or abby??? i've always been firmly in the abby camp but ziva is pretty hot. guess i'll just have impure thoughts about both. later, ahgar

I never got how she knew big English words but always got confused with the small ones.:confused:
 
The little English words on which she screws up are usually American slang while the big words are the technical ones that one would expect a very, very bright foreign intelligence agent to have learned. Slang is one of the MOST difficult things for a non-native speaker to pick up.

It's not only technical terms, her character has a large english vocabulary. I think the writers were trying for a Fawlty Towers / Manuel thingy, but it doesn't quite work. Plus her Israeli accent is completely fake :thumbdn:

I still watch it though :D
 
This thread needs some Ziva pics... I gotta see what the hubbub is about.
 
I stopped watching when the other chick got shot on the roof. I'm so out of touch I had no idea who this Ziva person was until this thread. I always wondered what "Ziva" rocks was supposed to mean.

I still prefer the other chick. She reminded me of Dana Scully.
