My wife recently let me snag this 15 inch 25 ounce Ang Khola Bowie by Bhakta from a DOTD and it is an amazing blade! I didn't pay much attention at first to these Bowies because they aint bent! My loss! These are some amazing pieces! They are thick strong and nimble at the same time. It actually performed well in the kitchen believe it or not? I could slam a clove of garlic with the side of the blade and the fullers kept it on the cutting board instead of splattering it all over the place. Talk about an excellent cleaver
. Catfish heads don't stand a chance! I was more worried about bustin by butcher block apart than harming the knife. I haven't taken it to the woodpile yet for anything more than pics but have no doubts it is capable of anything a CAK would do. Anyway here's some eye candy for my friends. Enjoy!
The mighty Ang Khola Bowie
Appropriately named "The Ghost"
Oh and another unrelated piece of steel came my way. An Ithaca featherlight 12GA shotgun
Good way to end the year id say! Hope my friends here did even better!
