I recently got an ndur water filter and a life straw. The ndur is a straw-type filter, and I planned on testing these 2 against each other. Has anyone had any experience with ndur products? They both have a 0.2 micron filter, but the ndur claims to also get rid of heavy metals and viruses.

the metals part , I dont know about , the virus part ..
I have a sawyer filter , I believe it is 0.1 micron and only removes bacteria ... NOT viruses
as far as I know ( Not an expert ) you need to boil the water to kill viruses , they wont be filtered out , they are just too small

If viruses are an issue, we offer the Point ZeroTWO Purifier (0.02 micron absolute pores), the first and thus far only portable purification device to physically remove viruses, which it does at a >5.5 log (99.9997%) rate, exceeding EPA and NSF recommendations.
