It's time to go scare some trees again!

I was going to try for a summer event, but our schedule filled up. So now we can enjoy the fine fall season on the edge of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park (or it's the back of some guy's Back 40 who forgot to put up the "No Trespassing" signs. :D )

Mark your calendars for Saturday Sept. 20, 9:30am. After our fun, we can retire to the Winking Lizard in nearby Peninsula and hit their extensive beer menu before it gets too crowded.

Location is just 1/2 mile off the Rt 303 exit (Exit 12) from I-271 in Richfield. And a 1/2 mile hike to our spot. The spot has a small pond (may be fishable? bring a pole and find out!) and is right along a power line right-of-way, so we can chop down a few more trees and do them a favor.

Bring your knives, big and small, to use and abuse, and for show and tell if you have safe queens. All are welcome; Hogs, Rats, Dogs, would-be, wanna-be, lurkers and others.

Please EMAIL me for specific directions, so that I can add you to our mailing list for future events.

Have to work that weekend...:grumpy: :grumpy: :grumpy:

Annual building shutdown for maintenance...

The 600 acres of woods, hill, trails, caves, and fields in southern ohio my family uses to hunt is o*en 5f you guys want to use it to.
Absolutely beutiful down there.
The cabin has power and water, but you guys will have to bring your own steaks and beer. :D

Not official, just saying if you guys want to use it you can.

Wow, that's a great offer. Thanks! Sounds like we could make it into a weekend GTG, and it would be a good location for our WV brethren to join us.

hmmm... fall, winter , spring: when would be a good time for this event?

Sometime when I'm not in school, summer would probly be good.
Real nice by the fire down there in the evening.

If we do it I might combine it with the Ohio wilderness gathering, but those guys are knife guys to.
Sounds like fun, 600 acre just for Busse nuts and bushcrafters to run around on. :D
It has some nice back trails to, and I can take people all around on my atv if they would like.

Dibs on the cabin...

Man, if gas weren't $8 a gallon, I'd drive up just to drink at a place called the Winking Lizard.

I can't make it all day :thumbdn:

but I think I can do a few hours in the am

still not 100% though :thumbdn:

I went through my Big Box of Busse, picked out a bunch of users for folks to play with at the GTG. Bringing 25# of steel. We had a break in the rain today, so I pulled out the HF belt grinder and tuned up the edges. Lotsa knives ready for a good beating - SHBM, Ruck, SFNO, FBM, Basic 7, SAR5, Uncle Mofo, two Banned choppers, ABA3, Cultie, Wardens.

What are you bringing to the party?

The weather gods have smiled upon us, looking real nice for Saturday morning. So far, I see there are only three of you coming. Where are the rest of the Ohio Busse fans?
