DATE CHANGE!
Based on a tip from gkruty, I reconned a small patch of woods, and found a place where we can have our first NE Ohio GTG. I have taken it upon myself to schedule this for Sunday, June 3. If we meet at 9:30am, we can scare some trees for a couple of hours and then retire to the Winking Lizard in nearby Peninsula and hit their extensive beer menu before it gets too crowded.
The location is less than a mile from the site of the old Richfield Coliseum at the Rt. 303 exit off I-271. The woods are part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and there are no hiking trails here, so contact with sheeple is unlikely. The spot is has a small pond (may be fishable? bring a pole and find out!) and is right along a power line right-of-way, so we can chop down a few more trees and do them a favor.
Bring your knives, big and small, to use and abuse, and for show and tell if you have safe queens. I am posting this for all the Wauseon addicts. Please EMAIL me for specific directions.
