nealy blade coatings.........

hi i recently got a nealy pesh kebz, and it has the black coated blade. the coating looks TERRIBLE for a POS pak knife, much less a nealy - all spotty, just looks crappy as heck.

should i EM nealy and see if he would recoat/beadblast/etc, otr should i just send it to bodycote for the latest coating they have??

$$ isnt the q, what would you do?? and why?

PS - also was expecting more from the nealy MASS system, its cheesy imho, no way to carry IWB except a small nylon belt loop to screw on the sheath. unless ya wanna carry upside down IWB, how wierd, wont work for me at all, not the greatest IMHO, is the MCS that much better?? i mean why would ya make a sheath w/out a way to carry IWB? other than a cheesy loop? i am lost on this topic i guess, any thoughts also appreciated....
 
well, after talking to bud i boxed up the knife and sent it to him, to be recoated, and to make a MASS sys for it - will post when i get it back.........

talked to mrs nealy today, my knife has a signed blade not the usual stamped logo, she said that indicated a special knife, first 10 of a certain madel, first 10 after they switched coating companies, etc, she's gonna look up the serial # and see why it has the signed logo....

they will have a MASS sheath ready by friday, but will take about 3-4 weeks to get the blade coated, they send them in in bunches, she said he would have 20 to coat in about 2 weeks...

cant wait to get it back
