Decided to cancel my DPx HEST/F pre-order for a variety of reasons.
So I fire off an email to Roger at Knifeworks with that request.
I get a nice email back from Ashley saying she cancelled the order, and I get a separate cancellation email. That was around 10 this morning.
About a half hour ago, I decided to check actual contents of the cancellation email.

They'd cancelled my Ritter/Becker MK2 Perseverance order!!!! :eek:
I'd been off the reservation for six hours and didn't even know it!!!! :eek:

Luckily, it was still business hours and a quick phone call put things right. I'm still shaken slightly though. I need bourbon. Stat.

You know if they had Canceled the R/B Collab, over you HEST, I would give you a river of crap for all eternity. Might even suspend your BK# numer for a few hours, LOL.

Glad you got it worked out, and squared away, LOL, that would have been funny.

I wished they went with a kydex sheath rather than the current one for the Bk12. Can't wait for this baddie.
 
I'm still a little paranoid. Maybe just slightly obsessive/compulsive on this one.
I talked to Brittany on the phone, but I emailed Ashley and asked that she confirm in writing the restoration of my order. :p
I may have to order another one just to be certain. :D
 
Mind tellin' why you canceled the HEST/F order? If not I understand. I am still waiting on the sterile LE.

i kinda like the folder, in theory. ordered a phat bob to tide the pain :>

oh, and i have a BK7 current gen BK7 coming. yar. that should help.

the zombie gear will be available soonish... some of those will surely be fun.

i MIGHT, maybe... under exclusive special OMG the world will end if something bad happens, arrange to send a box to Ethan that nobody touches until i arrive... be fun to have a full display case of Ethan history? maybe. maybe not.

if i'm forced to buy a new car before June (likely :(, i might drive down, with ... a collection. maybe the KaBar booth can offer me space for display purposes. mmm. i don't know how SECURE that shit is though overnite)

There's using your noggin :) I'd order another one just to be safe...its not worth the risk...

On second thought maybe I should order a second one...can't trust anyone especially with the likes of Bladite...;)

GUYON: No. First I ogled them... then i pre-payed for one, but they wouldn't ship yet. They just stood there, delayed. They wouldn't ship yet.
Hannibal Lecter: But you wanted on so bad, didn't you?
GUYON: Yes. I ordered one, I visited the store daily, I want to reach thru the window and take just one HEST and run as fast as i could.
Hannibal Lecter: Where were you going, GUYON?
GUYON: I don't know. I didn't have any food, any water and it was very cold, very cold. I thought, I thought if I could get just one, but... it was so unobtainable. So unobtainable. I didn't get more than a few miles when the Knife sellers staff car picked me up. The seller was so angry at me canceling my order he sent me to live in one of the worlds most dangerous places, without a HEST. I never saw the ranch again.

GUYON: they sold it.
Hannibal Lecter: Well, GUYON, - have the HEST's stopped screaming?

Those customer service gals were probably having a blast talking about this frantic nutjob whos keeps calling and emailing repeatedly over a silly knife order. :D:p

Did they make you wait on hold for ten minutes? They probably had a bet to see when you would start hyper-ventilating.

And I only blubbered a little bit on the phone.
Granted, there may have been at least one snot bubble.
Kind of hazy, but I may have sold my next child to a lady named Brenda. :confused:
I don't know. It all just happened so fast. :eek:

All is well today. Roger himself emailed me and assured me the order is active. Now if I can just sober up and get to work on time...

For Bushman5, mama bear and her cubs. I know nothing about lambs. :p
