First time using gun kote. Well, on a knife instead of a firearm, that is.

first time completely finishing the handle before glue up

First chute knife design.

Integral guard, G10 scales, gunkote finish.

OAL this is 10.75 inches long with a blade length of 5.4. The steel is 5160, .23 at the tang with a distal taper that increases as you go- .21 right where the top grind starts, .19 about halfway from there to the tip. For all that, it's only 9.75 ounces.

Christof yor work just keeps improving. Good design too. Personaly I am partial to 5160 it makes a fine knife.

Now that is a fine looking blade. That gun kote and G10 looks very clean and tactical. Mors Ab Alto!

I'll get better photos once I figure out the sheath. I'm considering a Randall style double welted rectangular sheath with a diamond hone in a pocket. Might work on a leather covered spring steel retention clip and a chape, as well. Or might get this one into some field somewhere and work on more details as I go :)

Nice work, Christof!!! Pre-fitting handles before glue up....takes some skill. Its hard enough getting them to line up right after they are set....LOL

Great job, love that blade.
