Just wanted to share a neat little knife that's unusual. Not valuable, but cool how it works. Made by Edge Co Italy with celluloid body. Pull ring pops blade out and locks it, and push to close it. Kind of like an auto knife without a spring. Has anyone here seen them before?

That is neat. And it looks to be in very good condition.

There are people who collect old Edge Co knives, it has something to do with youthful nostalgia (something I can identify with). I don't know what the value of your knife is, because I can't find any others online, but it might be worth more than you think.

It has several things going for it- 1. It's an Edge Co (I mentioned the collectors), 2. It appears to be in great shape. 3. It appears to be rare (wouldn't surprise me at all) and 4. It has an unusual mechanism, and there are people who collect knives with unusual mechanisms.

On a related note, I don't know what you know about celluloid, or if you've already read this, but it might be worth reading, at least the parts about how to care for celluloid handles. Celluloid is tricky stuff, and as it ages there can be issues.- https://www.bladeforums.com/resources/the-care-and-feeding-of-celluloid.8/updates#resources-update-9

I've been picking up knives for over 50 years, and it's the only one I have seen to. It is well-made, and I don't even remember when or where I got it. I might be wrong on the celluloid, but it is some type of plastic. Thanks for the link to celluloid care.
