Yesterday I picked up a neat little tool package at a gun show Its an imperial brand in a red case with a can opener, bade screwdriver, chisel, file, and some sort of awl or punch. It was too cool to pass up for $10 but I really cant find any information on it. The man said his mom bought it for him in the 50's and he cant remember ever using it, it always just sat in the bottom of a hunting bag. So did they make many of these, do you think the blade and tools are carbon steel, does the purchased in the 50's story hold up, and lastly do any of you guys have one of these neat little sets in your collection?

Sorry if people have posted questions about this model before, I couldnt find it.

PICS!!!

There's an example of the "Do it Yourself Kit" and a junior version in the 1959 catalog here:

Similar tool kits from other makers go back many decades earlier. They aren't something that I collect but I have owned a few.

Here's a 1906 advertisement from another maker

Thanks for sharing that pdf supratentorial, that made for some neat browsing. Now I really want one of the combos that came with a camp king and a fixed blade in the one sheath.
