Neat Shorts For Knife Carry

Picked up some shorts from JC Penny that are called "Utility Shorts". Along the side of the right leg is a velcro pocket for a cellphone, but it works great for EDC. The knife is very easy to get to, and I don't have to worry about gouging my car upholstery or mama's chairs when I sit down. In fact, the knife is still handy while sitting down. These shorts have a small cord alongside the right pocket that zips down for another smaller pocket. Seven to twelve bucks. Nice shorts. Check'em out!

Another good option are carpenter jean style shorts. Many of them have extra pockets. I have several pairs that have a long, narrow "sleeve" like series of pockets on the right side that are meant to facilitate hammers, etc. but it works very well for knives too. It keeps the knife situated exactly where my hand rests naturally when I'm standing.
