Neat slo-mo katana video clips

Apparently Ne-ta.com is where the original source of these videos is...
Some pretty impressive targeting (consistent angle of cut) here and there.
I am curious to the purpose of cutting tiny, relatively "impressive-looking" (on close-up video, i.e. splashes a lot) targets in slo-mo.
I'd be more interested in seeing someone perform a very technical cutting exercise to see weight shifting, balance, and multiple target paths.

Impressive photography and processing! I'd love to see the same thing concentrated on the swordsman and the blade like Seno says.....
