How good are Nebo Lights? Last week I came across them in a store. Though gimmicky the CSI Quatro looks neat. I realize these are not top dollar lights by any means but do you at least get what you pay for or are they total crap?

Despite the sort of pseudo-law-enforcement model names (thank goodness for no mentions of "comm-bloc body armor"), Nebo is owned by Alliance Sports Group, a conglomerate whose motto is, "Coming together to form one great consumer products company!" Consumer products. From Christian-themed picture frames to dog leashes to paintballs, the company makes -- or, most likely, sources and imports -- it all. They list their areas of expertise not as flashlight design but as Central Billing, Consolidated Shipments, creative design of product packaging and promotional materials, and a state-of-the-art distribution center running SAP. Their flagship product is Lure Eyes, special sunglasses for fishermen.

I've had a NEBO CSI Luma 35 for about 6 months now and really like it. Not the quality of flashlight I would take into the outdoors, but around the home it is worth the $10 I paid for it.

i was at an army surplus and my uncle threw some in at check out..., mine was pretty bright and worked pretty well...but its broken somehow..but i got it for free so it wasnt a big deal...i think it was dropped...

I love mine. 1xAA battery, LED, 35 Lumens, "self-defense" bezel, glow in the dark switch, all for $6.99.

I think I have the same one as (jeff) but I think I paid a bit less for mine. I went back to buy some more for gifts but the store doesn't have them any more. I guess I can get some on the net....

I use mine quite a bit around the house. The clicky switch is convenient. If I were going to pocket carry it I think I would dull the sharp edges on the bezel first.
